HEALTH GUARANTEE

Korea Teacup Puppies offers the following health guarantees:

 

• 7-Day Health Guarantee
  From the date of picking up your puppy/kitten
• 14-Day Health Guarantee
  From the date of picking up your puppy/kitten
• 1-Year Health Guarantee
  From the date of deposit payment

 

General Terms

We do NOT guarantee naturally occurring changes such as eye color, coat color, size, or weight.

We also do not guarantee changes resulting from the puppy or kitten’s personality, behavior, or habits, including malocclusion or training difficulties.

All claims and relevant documents must be submitted:

• within the applicable guarantee period, and
• within seventy-two (72) hours of the initial diagnosis.

All examinations and diagnoses must be carried out by a licensed veterinarian. Written confirmation from the licensed veterinarian regarding the puppy/kitten’s condition will be required.

All submitted documents will be forwarded to our veterinary team for further review. We reserve the right to request additional documentation if necessary.

Our health guarantees are non-transferable and are valid only for the original Buyer(s).

7-DAY HEALTH GUARANTEE

During the first seven (7) days from the date of picking up your puppy or kitten, Korea Teacup Puppies will cover up to USD 500.00 for treatable conditions or illnesses caused by flight or environmental changes, including:

• Loss or lack of appetite
• Cold
• Diarrhea
• Vomiting
• Skin disease
• Parasites

Coverage

Please note that we are ONLY responsible for treatment costs.

We are NOT liable for any other veterinary fees or related expenses, including:

• Examination fees
• X-rays
• Ultrasounds
• CT scans
• Blood tests
• Regular check-ups
• Other related costs

Exclusions

This guarantee does NOT cover illnesses, injuries, or deaths caused by the Buyer’s negligence or carelessness, including but not limited to:

• Late airport pick-up
• Falls
• Hypoglycemia caused by improper feeding
• Overeating caused by improper feeding or incorrect food portions

Because puppies and kittens are living animals, please follow our care instructions carefully during the first seven (7) days after pick-up.

During this period:

• Feed only the specified type and amount of food.
• Do not give baths.
• Do not take the puppy/kitten for walks.
• Avoid contact with other dogs or cats.

Claim Requirements

All claims must be submitted within seventy-two (72) hours of the initial diagnosis.

A medical report or medical records issued by a licensed veterinarian must be submitted and must confirm that the condition was not caused by the owner’s (Buyer’s) fault or negligence.

Original photo(s) of the puppy/kitten must also be included.

14-DAY HEALTH GUARANTEE

During the first fourteen (14) days from the date of picking up your puppy or kitten, Korea Teacup Puppies will cover up to USD 1,000.00 for treatable, life-threatening infectious diseases that may result in death, including:

• Parvovirus
• Canine distemper

Coverage

Please note that we are ONLY responsible for treatment costs.

We are NOT liable for any other veterinary fees or related expenses, including:

• Examination fees
• X-rays
• Ultrasounds
• CT scans
• Blood tests
• Regular check-ups
• Other related costs

Exclusions

This guarantee does NOT cover illnesses, injuries, or deaths caused by the Buyer’s negligence or carelessness, including but not limited to:

1-YEAR HEALTH GUARANTEE

During the first one (1) year from the date of deposit payment*, Korea Teacup Puppies will offer a replacement puppy or kitten of comparable value if the puppy/kitten is diagnosed with:

• An incurable, life-threatening congenital defect or disorder that may result in death
• Death caused by an incurable, life-threatening congenital defect or disorder
• A congenital heart defect of Grade 4 or above

* This guarantee is valid for one (1) year from the date the deposit is paid.

Coverage

Please note that ONLY congenital defects or disorders are covered.

Genetic or hereditary defects or disorders are NOT covered.

This guarantee does NOT provide any form of financial compensation, including refunds.

Korea Teacup Puppies will only provide a replacement puppy/kitten of comparable value.

We are NOT liable for veterinary fees or other related expenses, including:

• Examination fees
• X-rays
• Ultrasounds
• CT scans
• Blood tests
• Regular check-ups
• Other related costs

Joint-Related Exclusions

The following conditions are NOT covered:

• Luxating Patella (Kneecap Dislocation)
• LCPD (Legg-Calvé-Perthes Disease)
• Joint or articulation-related conditions caused by the puppy or kitten’s living environment

To help protect your puppy/kitten’s joints, we recommend:

• Using anti-slip mats on floors
• Using pet stairs or steps for sofas
• Providing a safe environment that minimizes stress on the joints

Buyer Responsibility

This guarantee does NOT cover illnesses, injuries, or deaths caused by the Buyer’s negligence or carelessness, including but not limited to:

• Late airport pick-up
• Falls
• Hypoglycemia caused by improper feeding
• Overeating caused by improper feeding or incorrect food portions

• the condition or illness is incurable and life-threatening, or
• the death was caused solely by a congenital defect or disorder, and
• there was no fault or negligence on the part of the owner (Buyer).
