KOREA TEACUP PUPPIES provides domestic and international transportation assistance for companion animals.
Transportation methods, schedules, costs, required documents, and available delivery options may vary depending on the companion animal’s age, health condition, breed, destination country, airline regulations, quarantine requirements, and applicable local laws.
## Transportation Process
Transportation preparations begin after the adoption or reservation process has been confirmed and all necessary information has been received.
To arrange transportation, we may request the following information:
* Full name of the adopter
* Contact information
* Destination country and city
* Preferred arrival airport
* Information about the companion animal
* Import permits or other documents required by the destination country
* Additional information required by the airline, transportation provider, or quarantine authority
The final transportation schedule will be confirmed only after all required documents, payments, health examinations, and transportation reservations have been completed.
## Estimated Transportation Time
Transportation time may vary depending on the destination, flight availability, customs procedures, quarantine requirements, weather conditions, and airline schedules.
The following timeframes are general estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

In some cases, the entire transportation process may take more than 30 business days.
## Transportation Costs
Transportation costs are calculated based on factors including:
* Destination country and airport
* Airline and transportation route
* Size and weight of the companion animal
* Size and weight of the travel crate
* Veterinary health examinations
* Health certificate issuance
* Vaccinations and microchipping
* Export and import documentation
* Customs and quarantine requirements
* Ground transportation
* Airline handling charges and cargo fees
Transportation costs may be calculated separately from the adoption fee.
Additional charges may apply if the destination, route, travel crate size, schedule, or required documents change after the initial estimate has been provided.
## Health and Departure Requirements
A companion animal may travel only after meeting the health and age requirements established by the airline, transportation provider, and destination country.
Depending on the destination country, the following procedures may be required:
* General veterinary examination
* Vaccinations
* Rabies vaccination
* Microchip implantation
* Rabies antibody testing
* Internal and external parasite treatment
* Health certificate issuance
* Export quarantine inspection
* Import permit approval
* Additional examinations or treatments required by the destination country
Transportation may be postponed if the companion animal is not considered fit to travel or does not meet the applicable requirements.
The health and safety of the companion animal will always take priority over the originally requested departure or arrival date.
## Flight and Schedule Changes
Flights and transportation schedules may be changed without prior notice due to airline operations, weather conditions, government regulations, quarantine procedures, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If a schedule change occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to identify the next appropriate transportation option and inform the adopter.
However, a specific flight, arrival date, route, or arrival time cannot be guaranteed until all transportation arrangements have been finalized.
## Tracking and Transportation Updates
Transportation of a companion animal may not be tracked in the same manner as standard parcel delivery.
Depending on the transportation method, the adopter may receive some of the following information:
* Flight information
* Air waybill number
* Transportation provider details
* Departure confirmation
* Arrival information
* Customs or quarantine status updates
* Ground transportation updates
After the companion animal has been transferred to the airline or transportation provider, it may take additional time for tracking information to appear in the relevant system.
Please contact us if you have not received the expected transportation information.
## Airport Collection and Destination Delivery
Depending on the destination country and transportation method, the companion animal may need to be collected from one of the following locations:
* International airport cargo terminal
* Animal quarantine facility
* Designated customs clearance area
* Local transportation provider
* Prearranged delivery location
The adopter is responsible for confirming the collection location, operating hours, identification and documentation requirements, customs procedures, and local transportation arrangements.
Home delivery is not available in every country or region.
## Customs Duties, Taxes, and Import Costs
Customs duties, taxes, quarantine fees, and other import-related costs vary by country and region.
The required documents, procedures, and costs may differ depending on the laws of the destination country, the type of companion animal, the transportation method, the arrival airport, and local customs procedures.
For this reason, the adopter must consult with our representative in detail before proceeding with international transportation.
Before transportation is arranged, the adopter should confirm the applicable customs duties, taxes, quarantine requirements, customs clearance procedures, and any anticipated additional costs with our representative.
Any information provided by our representative is based on the regulations and information available at the time of consultation. Final requirements, procedures, and charges remain subject to the decisions of local customs authorities, quarantine authorities, airports, airlines, and government agencies.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the adopter is responsible for the following costs:
* Import permit fees
* Customs duties
* Value-added tax and other applicable taxes
* Quarantine fees
* Airport handling charges
* Storage fees
* Customs brokerage fees
* Local delivery charges
* Additional veterinary examination costs required after arrival
* Any other charges imposed by authorities in the destination country
Failure to provide the required documents or pay the applicable charges may result in transportation delays, additional costs, quarantine holds, refusal of entry, or return transportation.
Additional expenses caused by incomplete information, incorrect documentation, refusal to pay import-related charges, or failure to collect the companion animal within the required period may be charged to the adopter.
## Incorrect Information or Documentation
The adopter must provide complete and accurate information for all transportation and import procedures.
KOREA TEACUP PUPPIES is not responsible for delays or additional expenses caused by:
* An incorrect name
* An incorrect address
* Incorrect contact information
* An incorrect arrival airport
* Missing or invalid import documents
* Failure to comply with destination-country regulations
* Failure to respond to customs authorities, quarantine authorities, airlines, or transportation providers
Additional charges may apply if information must be corrected after reservations have been made or documents have been issued.
## Transportation Responsibility
KOREA TEACUP PUPPIES coordinates transportation with airlines, professional animal transportation companies, veterinary clinics, quarantine authorities, and other relevant service providers.
Once the companion animal has been transferred to an airline, cargo handler, customs authority, quarantine authority, or transportation provider, the rules and procedures of that organization may apply.
If a transportation-related issue occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the relevant parties and assist in resolving the matter.
However, we are not responsible for circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
* Flight delays or changes
* Customs procedures
* Decisions made by quarantine authorities
* Government actions
* Airline transportation restrictions
* Weather conditions
* Other force majeure events
Nothing in this Policy limits any rights or obligations that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
## Transportation Delays
Transportation delays may occur for reasons including:
* Flight cancellations
* Airline restrictions on live-animal transportation
* Temperature restrictions
* Severe weather
* Customs inspections
* Quarantine inspections
* Changes in companion-animal import regulations
* Incomplete documentation
* Government processing delays
* Public health measures or emergency restrictions
